"a Walter" Bianco Veronese IGT - Limited Edition
Description
Guyot trained with planting density of 4,400 vines - hectare, for a production of about 3 kg per plant. Morainic terrain south of Lake Garda, with rows facing north to south. For this product the harvest is strictly manual.
After the soft pressing of the grapes, each must is cold-decanted for a variable period. Chardonnay performs spontaneous fermentation, while Riesling and Garganega are fermented with selected yeasts.
The Chardonnay is aged for at least one year in wood, then it is blended with the remaining wine and left to mature for a year in steel before bottling.
Straw yellow in color, slightly golden, with clear green reflections. Excellent freshness on the nose with fruity, tropical and citrus notes, on a toasted hazelnut background. In the mouth there is a correspondence to the nose with a good savory fat sensation that extends towards the pleasantly acidulous salty.
Definitely a wine to bring to the table and match with daringness.
